About Us

As a teenager I worked as an au pair! Later, I trained as a counsellor, psychotherapist and stress management consultant and spent a year seeing clients in a Psychological Services Clinic in the NHS. At the same time, I became training director for a counselling training college and also served on the management committee of the Open College Network of the West Midlands.

My clinical apprenticeship in stress management was supervised at the Royal Homeopathic Hospital NHS Trust in London. I enjoy management and have also spent almost half of my life working in other countries and with other cultures. This led me to realise that the values of kindness, understanding and a heartfelt welcome can overcome differences in language or cultural expression.
